Englishtown should be up to landing this with New Perk and Red Scally others to consider. The selection was a beaten favourite last time at Bangor when he finished fourth behind Out The Black. He ran a sound race in defeat that day and in what looks a less competitive affair he is taken to score. New Perk is dropping in trip after a slightly disappointing effort at Sedgefield last time. Again, he should find this contest easier and he is entitled to go well with ground conditions to suit. Red Scally goes on a fast surface but he is better with plenty of cut in the ground and with this in mind he is narrowly passed over. Green Go is prone to mistakes and is not one to place maximum faith in, and for the winner we are happy to return to Englishtown.
