In depth

Verdict

Magic River has finished second three times this season and is 3lb lower than his last winning mark. ZEE MAN is 7lb higher than when successful here in January but ran well at Catterick next time and his error-strewn round at Ayr last time wasn’t his true running. He gets the nod to bounce back, though City Never Sleeps can’t be ignored if ready after a short break. Annie Day remains unexposed and looks the pick of the remainder.
