In depth

Verdict

A competitive race for the track but Boss Des Mottes has 11lb more than when successful last year and is still climbing the weights. Fair Loch has more on his plate than when winning a Catterick seller but there is probably more to come from Instant Karma, who has been placed twice around here already in maiden hurdles. Knight's Parade and Shalambar have both won on the all-weather recently and Gin And Tonic can go well from near the foot of the weights but QASSER could be the one to be on if he rediscovers the form he was showing before the turn of the year.
