Camden stepped up on his debut over hurdles to score by 10 lengths over C&D last month. Oliver Sherwood's gelding is probably capable of better but this looks a well-contested event for the track with Paul Nicholls saddling San Remo Bello, who won in the French Provinces last year and was fourth at Stratford on his UK debut. Caught By Witness fulfilled earlier promise when winning over C&D last time and can go close again but the one to beat may be BRUNSWICK GOLD. Steve Gollings thinks quite a bit of this six-year-old, who performed with credit when pitched into Grade 2 company at Cheltenham last time having finished a good second on his debut over timber at Doncaster.
