In depth
Verdict
Fongoli and Zepnove are likely to struggle under their penalties in this novices' hurdle and a better bet looks to be KIND HEART with Evening Sunset rated the best of the rest. The selection was capable on the flat for Sir Mark Prescott and subsequently for Paul Howling and made a pleasing debut over hurdles for Don McCain when gamely taking a decent novices' hurdle at Aintree last month and she has an obvious chance of following up that success. Tim Vaughan's Am I Blue could be an interesting newcomer over timber for a stable that does well with their runners over hurdles and makes more appeal than Tom Taaffe's Innocent Times, who lacks any racing experience. Mick Quinlan's Evening Sunset sprung a surprise when successful at Plumpton in September and has disappointed back on the flat since then so a better bet looks to be Kind Heart.
