Verdict

Boher Lad has won three times this season but has shot up the weights as a consequence and his best form lately has come at Southwell. Fontwell second SERPICO will have his stamina to prove over this trip but it’s probably worth taking a risk on the unexposed six-year-old ahead of Phare Isle, a previous course and distance winner but not successful in the last two years. Amron Kali is only 1-17 over hurdles and was pulled up on his only previous try over 3m.
