Monfalcone is something of an unknown quantity as he has his first run outside of Scandinavia, where he won three times on the Flat and 11 times over jumps. SAILORS WARN has only won once in three years since arriving from Ireland but that came in a much better race than this at Stratford last August. He should land this if anywhere near his best form. No Win No Fee did finish ahead of the selection on slightly better terms at Southwell last summer but has completely lost his way since. Caprice D'anglais has won twice over fences this season but has a mountain to climb at the weights.
