In depth

Verdict

Philip Hobbs will be hoping MELEKHOV can end a recent barren spell for his yard. The gelding led until inside the final furlong on debut at Ludlow and should stay the extra if he settles a little better. Arch My Boy looks the pick of the other three with experience while Imperial Knight and Midnight Monsoon are interesting newcomers. Olly Murphy’s charge will probably need further on breeding but the latter is out of a dam that won three times over hurdles.
