Selberry Has done well this year, winning 3 times; likes soft, should be OK on the track even if his wins have come at Chepstow this season; has an 8 lbs rise to overcome but is ridden by a seven-pound claimer.
Burundi (IRE) Had been off for over a year prior to this season's two runs but has shown very little in them; achieved a rating of 127 two years ago.
Memsahib Ofesteem She's up to running a decent race off this mark and has won at this track; best recent form on better ground but she does act on heavy.
Lunar Lord After defeats in sellers he came good at Chepstow mainly, it was said, because he enjoyed going left-handed; the runner-up there has won over three miles since.
Noble Colours Nicely-handicapped on his best form and would have needed his seasonal reappearance, his first run since Dec 10, 1999.
Protocol (IRE) No show on his seasonal reappearance but may have needed it; has had a recent flat run and, on some of his form last year, can't be ruled out provided he handles the track.
Alpine Hideaway (IRE) Another whose form of old would give him a chance.
El Zito (IRE) Difficult to evaluate his form and he's had only two hurdles runs, but it's possible, especially with his rider claiming 7 lbs, that he's got in fairly lightly; can't be ruled out.
Blackwater Bay (IRE) A lot better off with Selberry for finishing 19 lengths behind him at Chepstow on Jan 16; she won a maiden hurdle at Newcastle last season; track and going should be OK.
Broke Road (IRE) She looked like she might progress a little last year but her form this time around has been pretty modest; has won over the course annd distance and acts on soft.
Eviyrn (IRE) Won off a mark of 80 earlier in the season but his level of form is modest; races from 3 lbs out of the handicap here.
Pagan King (IRE) Raised only 3 lbs for an improved effort at Cheltenham last time; goes on soft and is entitled to be considered today.
