Verdict

EVERDON BROOK has won three of his last five starts and finished second in the other two. He keeps defying the handicapper and, eased in grade after his latest victory at Catterick, can shrug off a further 10lb rise and score again as Minella Special is faced with a similar rise having just scraped home over 2m4f here on New Year's Day. Tick Tocker is making his handicap debut but won over 3m between the flags and could be interesting but Chargen is still a maiden after 26 career starts and In The Dock and Jonny Rye haven't shown much this season.
