In depth

Verdict

San Benedeto had his limitations exposed at Newton Abbot last week and will likely struggle to give weight to a couple of rivals who probably have more scope over fences. Rolling Maul was certainly impressive on return to chasing at Bangor, though the shorter trip and sharp track would be a worry. ITS'AFREEBEE (NAP) was placed in a couple of point-to-points but his career took off under Rules after he won a Bellewstown bumper in August of last year. He won three times over hurdles, including a Grade 2, and was third in the Neptune Investment Management Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham in March. He could take high rank among novice chasers this season.
