Verdict

SCARPIA is almost certain to start favourite as he was very green when second at Warwick on New Year’s Eve - he can put that experience to good use today. Fantastikas also finished second on debut, at Southwell, but didn’t run up to that form subsequently at Newbury. Jumps-bred Fivetotwelve may be the best long-term prospect of Olly Murphy’s trio of debutants but jockey bookings suggest African Dance will come out best today. Catmygirl and Martello Sky are others worth a market check.
