      Verdict

      A winner over fences in France, Icaque De L'isle showed some potential for new connections last winter though is still looking a bit high in the weights. SCENE ONE (NAP) progressed nicely over hurdles, scoring at Warwick in April, and makes his chasing debut off what looks a fair mark. Ben Buie has completed a double in Class 5 handicaps and though 5lb higher looks certain to get competitive while the veteran Shaw's Cross is only a pound higher than when successful at Plumpton in February though wouldn't want more rain.
