Verdict

E MAJOR is fancied to hit the right note and lower the colours of Faith And Reason and Cornelia. Renee Robeson has had a spring to remember with the victory of Ogee at Aintree the highlight of her five winners from just fifteen runners in March and April. This individual is well bred but didn't excel on the level for Freemason Lodge but the signs are encouraging that he can make a name for himself at his new career. He has progressed with each start and can make his presence felt now stepped up in trip for his handicap bow from a realistic perch. Faith And Reason won back to back races last summer and is now rated 21lbs higher than for the first of those victories; that may not prove to be insurmountable but he didn't shine on his one subsequent run on the level and the market could be useful. Cornelia has some useful bits of form to her name but she became disappointing when last in action so has questions to answer now. She's undoubtedly capable of better and, once again, the market may prove key to assessing her claims. Royal Premier and Wherrimon may prove capable of better now handicapping but we fancy E Major to nick the booty.
