    Verdict

A decent bumper for the track and Nicky Henderson will be hoping Clemency can emulate Free Thinking, who won this for the yard two years ago. His filly was only beaten a neck on her debut at Ludlow. Lady Persephone has a penalty for a narrow win at Warwick but should be suited by this step up in trip while the Kayf Tara mare Via Volupta is an interesting newcomer. MARDALE has been beaten twice by the useful Out Of The Mist at Doncaster but only a head separated the pair last time. She deserves a change of luck and can give weight to the two four-year-olds.
