In depth

Verdict

What A Vintage, Lord Of The Road and Ca Na Trona look the main protagonists in this novices chase and the tentative vote is given to What A Vintage. The selection was a fair fourth in a handicap chase on his debut behind Bring Me Sunshine, is sure to have conme on for the run and in recipt of the weight for age allowances he looks the one to be on. Lord Of The Road rates the main danger on his best hurdles form but he showed little on his return after an abscence and the suspicion is he may need another run before he hits top form. Ca Na Trona is another that could go well on his latest second behind Neysauteur but that form has since been let down and he is taken on with this in mind. Of the remainder Frosty Jak has won his last two races in good style but this looks tougher and he will need to improve again to score and with this in mind for the winner we return to What A Vintage to small stakes.
