It might pay to take a chance on Lawaaheb here, with others to consider being Domart, Macgyver, Major Belle, Red Nose Lady, Lazy Lena and Approaching Land. The selection has only had one run over hurdles, when he finished fourth to La Limbertine in a seller. However, that rates as ok, as does the fact that he has won recently on Lingfield's Polytrack over 10 furlongs. Market confidence would be of interest also. The Mark Pitman-trained Domart drops to this grade for the first time after having shown some promise in novice events. Basically, this level should show him in a better light. Macgyver is well-weighted based on his chasing form while Major Belle holds good claims based on his selling win of last May but has not set the world alight since returning this year, including when being beaten at this level. A return to the level of last season's winning form would give Red Nose Lady a good chance, although she has won over two-and-a-half miles and this is a sharp track. Approaching Land showed some improvement last time but is another that is dropping back in distance. Finally, Belisco's saddle slipped when he made his hurdling debut so the jury is out on him, but Lazy Lena was noted making late headway last time so is another to consider. However, for the winner, we will stick with Lawaaheb.
