    Verdict

    A very poor turnout which can easily be left to BATTLE OF JERICHO. Aidan O'Brien's charge has three Group 1 entries and though they look a bit optimistic on his defeat in the Group 3 Cornwallis at Newmarket in October he should have no problems seeing off these moderate rivals. My Silver Nails won a Curragh nursery last summer but hasn't shown much in her two starts this campaign so Veryhoyen looks next best as he won at Dundalk in March and hasn't run badly in handicaps there on his last two starts. War Advocate cost 30,000gns and is a half-brother to Group 3 winner Thousand Words so he looks one for the future.
