The last six favourites have won this though it looks more competitive this time around. Gordon Elliott has four entries, all newcomers to hurdling after being acquired from the UK. From Frost is the highest rated of them on the level and the former Andrew Balding winner could prove best of the quartet. Willie Mullins has a trio of entries and KALKIR will be ridden by Ruby Walsh which suggests he's the one to be on. He finished a close fourth on his debut at Auteuil in April and the third has subsequently proved himself the best three-year-old hurdler in France with five victories including a Grade 1 a month ago. Tarabiyn had Verawal just behind when they occupied the places behind Crafty Codger at Punchestown and either could take advantage if their stablemate doesn't come up to scratch. Kabjoy made an impressive hurdling debut when beating Prussian Eagle at Navan and the runner-up has come out and won since so Jessica Harrington's filly has to be considered. Dai Bando had Verawal and Tarbiyn behind when runner-up to the shock winner Scooping at Down Royal and is another with claims.
