Kerry Lee gained her first-ever Grade 1 victory here on Monday and Top Gamble should make a bold bid to complete a stable double. The eight-year-old made all for a very impressive victory over Dodging Bullets at Newbury and revels in testing ground so it will be a surprise if he's not involved in the finish. Twinlight won this last year but only had two opponents to beat and he hasn't been in the best of form subsequently, though he was conceding 8lb when beaten by Days Hotel at Naas last month so has a fair chance of reversing the form with the winner on these terms. Flemenstar had been in excellent shape before a very poor effort in the Grade 1 Ascot Chase last month which wasn't his form. He had SIZING GRANITE a long way behind at Leopardstown in December but the heavy going was all against Colm Murphy's charge, who is much better judged on his victory in the Grade 1 Maghull at Aintree last April. Providing the ground doesn't get any softer, he's a sporting pick to return to his best and take this.
