SIEMPRE AMIGOS didn't run very well at Dundalk last time but had produced two very good efforts on testing ground earlier and Nathan Crosse' claim can see him over the line. He was beaten a length by Get Out Of Jail at Galway and will be 6lb better off so should turn the tables on his in-form rival, who only just failed to follow-up when tackling heavy going at Limerick and just failing to catch Port Moody, who runs in the previous race. He's gone up another 6lb but holds Dixie Highway on that Galway run. Fioruisce hasn't shown much but can't go much lower in the weights while Nannys Well would have a chance on the best of her form on this sort of ground. Les Arceaux was sent to Carlisle for a minor handicap and came up trumps so he looks a threat under Colin Keane on ground that suits.
