Slowmotion won this in 2017 before running a couple of superb races in very tough handicaps. She hasn't been disgraced over hurdles in her two starts this year and should be ready for this. Barra is a very smart hurdler who could be even better over fences judging by a smooth victory on her debut at Kilbeggan in July, though she hasn't run subsequently. Stable companion Synopsis easily won a Cheltenham handicap in December then ran poorly at Huntingdon and was beaten a long way behind Pravalaguna in a Mares' Listed race at Naas. The winner ran poorly in the Grade 1 JLT at Cheltenham and this is more her level. CAMELIA DE COTTE completed a hat-trick when landing a Grade 2 at Thurles and didn't appear to be at her best when beaten 11 lengths by Kaiser Black at Naas so she can defy a penalty and gain her sixth victory over fences.
