Verdict

Hello Sweetie hasn't made the expected progress after her opening run at Ballinrobe. Kate Appleby Shoes was narrowly beaten by useful performers on her first two starts and is better than we saw on her latest run at Thurles where she was taken wide all the way in search of better ground. Kris Kindle started off very well but hasn't improved and has now had eight starts in bumpers. Gordon Elliott's newcomer Myztique is one to keep an eye on as he's by High Chaparral out of a stoutly-bred mare. Goulane Davina wasn't fancied on her debut in a Dromahane point last month but won easily and could be anything. TEN TIMES BETTER chased the winner Bonny Kate all the way over a slightly longer trip at Punchestown on New Year's Eve and though unable to match her pace did enough to suggest this similar event would be within her scope.
