Verdict

CONCERTISTA was having her first start for Willie Mullins in the Grade 2 Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham and beaten a short-head by stable companion Eglantine Du Seuil. She can take high order in mares' races this campaign and this should be a winning start. Larquebuse won a Punchestown bumper last month but didn't run as well as expected on her hurdling debut at Cork when Earthiest Words finished runner-up behind the odds-on Minella Melody. Paul Nolan's mare will be receiving 13lb from the selection and looks the main threat though Telmesomethinggirl, an impressive winner between the flags at Ballinaboola in February, is one to keep an eye on.
