In depth

Verdict

Willie Mullins holds a strong hand with CNOC NA SI, the mount of Patrick, getting the nod over Walk In The Brise. Jody Townend was on board when the former was outpaced on heavy ground at Limerick and swaps rides this time as Patrick rode the latter when narrowly beaten at Gowran. The filly Oakroom Lady gets an allowance after a fair run on heavy going at Clonmel while the experience of Saratoga Lass should stand her in good stead. Clogga Bay Girl was beaten 42 lengths behind Noble Yeats in a Navan maiden hurdle last March and that form hasn't worked out too badly while Jetara is from a brilliant family and one to keep an eye on in the market.
