A Great View overcame trouble in running to score at Down Royal but jumped very poorly at Naas next time - he is better than that. The versatile Inis Meain ran his best race over fences behind Dicosimo at Thurles but Cogryhill hasn't run since August and has his first start for Tony Martin. Clontarf is only moderate over timber but made an impressive debut over fences here in January and has every chance of further progress while the lightly-raced Killaro Boy overcame some sticky jumping to land a Gowran handicap with a bit in hand. CREST has been a beaten favourite in three of his last four starts but has been a bit unfortunate not to have won by now and this could be his day, though it would be no surprise to see New Kid In Town bouncing back.
