Verdict

Willie Mullins has had just two runners in bumpers this year and they have both won so HI HO PHOENIX gets the vote to continue the sequence. He's out of an unraced mare from a very smart family and with stamina at a premium he shouldn't be lacking in that respect. Gerri Colombe scrambled home in a Lingstown in March but someone must have been impressed as he went for 240,000K at the sales the same month. He's joined Gordon Elliott, who trained Joseph Conrad to an easy victory over Viscount Gort at Cork so should know how he stands with Henry De Bromhead's charge. Grozni probably bumped into a useful winner at Ayr while the mare The Higher Road was impressive in a maiden at Dromahane last month.
