Many of these arrive here in very good shape including bottom weight PEAK RAIDER, who gets the vote despite an 11lb rise for a facile victory at Gowran and having to carry 1lb extra. Tommy Carberry's young chaser has been improving with each run and was always travelling easily for his maiden success over fences. Noel Meade runs both Jered and Loup Du Saubouas with preference just for the former who was probably just in need of the run on his return at Cork, his first start since falling at the first in the Jewson at Cheltenham. Knocknabooly has had very little racing for his age, so shouldn't be too inconvenienced by this being his first run since scoring over hurdles at Limerick in April. This will be his handicap debut over fences and it could well be that he's starting from a lenient mark.
