Joseph O'Brien complicates matter by saddling three. Theydon Park dead-heated for a Huntingdon bumper in October but the form hasn't worked out while Successor, a very promising type on the Flat, makes his hurdling debut. The latter is owned by J P McManus and his retained rider Barry Geraghty is on board A YEAR TO REMEMBER. A two-year-old winner when ridden by his current trainer, he made an encouraging start over timber behind Dakota Moirette at Punchestown and should have come on enough to take this. That winner is trained by Gordon Elliott, who has the useful Flat performer Mengli Khan engaged here. He's rated 96 after two victories for Hugo Palmer and is an obvious one to keep an eye on. High School Days, a dual winner on the Flat in France, is one to note for the future while Warp Factor has performed well at Musselburgh on his last two starts, though on good ground.
