Verdict

The veteran Cher Why Not came here on New Year's Day and scored with a bit in hand but he's 7lb higher and 5lb out of the handicap. Winning point-to-pointer and bumper Corbetts Cross makes his handicap debut after landing a 2m5f Limerick maiden and should have no problems with the extra. EYE VAN had been racing in much stronger company earlier this year before landing a Down Royal maiden last month and can make a successful handicap debut. Young Dev is very much a heavy ground performer who stays the trip well as he showed at Limerick and a 6lb rise shouldn't prevent another big run. The lightly-raced Bodhisattva has run well in both recent starts and should again be thereabouts but Rebellious Gale is 13lb higher than his last winning mark..
