Verdict

Stattler, a half-brother to a winning bumper/jumper, is an obvious one to keep an eye on though ULTIMA THULE ran so well behind subsequent dual hurdles winner Easywork at Down Royal that he looks the one to be on. The winner's stable is represented by Jimmy Jimmy, who will have come on a bundle for his debut here last month, but Railway Hurricane, who won between the flags in November, was well beaten on his bumper debut at Down Royal.
