Nina Carberry will be intent on winning this race named after her and ALLY CASCADE can carry her to victory. Noel Meade's charge made a very satisfactory debut behind Definite Dream at Tipperary in April and, with that experience under his belt, can take this. Grove Field finished around six lengths behind in that event but he also showed promise and is expected to do better. The Pounds has shown ability but probably needs further and Colley Row may prove more of a threat as he was going on nicely at the finish behind Stolberg at Listowel last month. Captain Lob was well beaten in a bumper over the C&D in April but ran very well when sent over hurdles the following month.
