Banntown Girl easily beat subsequent dual winner Agritime in a Roscommon bumper and wasn't beaten far when stepped up to Listed class at Gowran. Lizlucky ran very well in a Cork bumper then battled to a short-head success at Punchestown while point-to-point and bumper winner Nancy Wyse ran well for a long way over hurdles at Cork nine days ago. Sadie's Pride won a Tramore bumper and led from two out to the last when tackling 2m4f over timber at Sligo. Zuma Rock won a Clonmel bumper in May but has run moderately in two subsequent starts on the Flat while Kilbarry Chianti was beaten six times in bumpers before a fair effort over hurdles.
