BAWNMORE LASS had only shown modest form before she chased home the in-form Father Ted at Ballinrobe. She's 5lb higher here and the ground is likely to be quicker but she hasn't had much racing and wouldn't need much more to go one better. Ballygill Princess was well beaten in that latter race though she will have found the going too soft but Jack Slade is expected to carry his big weight with distinction. Noel Meade's charge has been in very good form for most of the summer, scoring at Bellewstown in July, and would have won at Down Royal the following month but for falling at the second-last. Winning point-to-pointer Bobbythegangster would have finished much closer at Tramore last time but for losing a shoe and should find a handicap soon.
