Eagle Fang was having only his second career start when narrowly beaten at Cork and looks best of those with hurdling experience. However, this has been won by some nice horses in the past and there are several newcomers with smart form on the Flat. Semblance Of Order was rated 85 after landing a Leopardstown handicap in the summer while the filly Timeless Piece handled heavy conditions when landing a Killarney handicap. Pinot Gris completed a double in June and only just failed to make all over 1m6f at Listowel so could prove a smart recruit. FRATAS completed a handicap four-timer before finding Listed company at Naas beyond her and she's taken to make her allowance count.
