In depth

Verdict

Captain Lob was second at Punchestown in May and also made the frame on his reappearance over C&D last month. He makes more appeal than Punchestown third Molly's Affair and Send For Mary, disappointing at Galway after a fair debut fourth at Navan. OWEN MC has a nice pedigree and will be expected to enjoy plenty of success over hurdles in the future. Nina Carberry can steer him to a debut success in this, though fellow newcomer Quickpick Vic is also worth a second look and preferred to the moderate Totally Couture.
