Ben Rumson is the only course and distance winner in the line-up having gained a comfortable victory last month. He has an 8lb rise to contend with so this is tougher. Gordon Elliott has three entries, including a reserve, and Pat Smullen has been booked in an attempt to finally get the frustrating Ondamoura off the mark on Turf though the stable look to have a better chance with High Expectations, a winner at Ayr in May. Ruth Melody showed a bit of improvement at Hamilton while Nannys Well would be up to this if ready after a long break though her lone victory came on heavy going. CAMINEL finished very strongly when a close third over slightly shorter at Limerick. This is the longest trip she has tried and though it's over two years since she last won she's taken to gain her fifth career victory.
