Plenty of runners but very few with realistic chances so GARS BAR DINE looks to have an outstanding chance of losing his maiden tag. Sue Bramall's charge, runner-up in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil last summer, has improved with each run for new connections and his close third behind the long odds-on Vigil at Naas would be good enough for this. Brosna George improved when stepped up to 2m4f at Gowran but still looks likely to get into the action on this testing ground while Irish Mustard was there with every chance when falling at the last in a point at Ballyarthur last month. Phar Island didn't run badly at Punchestown in January but ran a shocker in a Cork bumper last month. Gordon Elliott's newcomer Mister Firth will eventually be suited by fences but isn't highly tried in this moderate contest.
