In depth

Verdict

Knightsone looked a good prospect after landing a bumper and running well over hurdles but that was over two years ago. Falcon Crest made a good impression on his bumper debut at Punchestown but was beaten a long way at Leopardstown in December and hasn't been seen since. El Vasco can improve from his bumper debut in May while Crown Of Gold was well clear at this trip before fading close home on his reappearance here last month and will take some catching. DELEGATE showed plenty of potential in bumpers and made his hurdling debut behind the exciting Long Dog at Limerick last month where he ran well for a long way before falling at the last. He will strip fitter this time and is handed the vote.
