Despite his age, FORITSA improved dramatically over fences last season and completed a hat-trick. Not surprisingly he shot up the weights as a consequence so connections are taking advantage of a 28lb lower mark over timber with Adan O'Neill's claim further reducing the burden so he has to be the choice. Forjoethepainter had slipped to a fair mark when beating Linda's Choice here last month and the runner-up, who runs in the previous race, scored next time so the form looks solid. Strain Of Fame would almost certainly have won at Thurles last time but for a last-flight fall and from just 1lb higher must be a threat to all. Dedoctorsdaughter has won twice over fences this summer and her shrewd connections take advantage of her lower hurdles mark so she's another to consider in an open race.
