FOREVER GOLD started favourite for this last year and came home in great style. He loves these marathons and though he's 10lb higher he's been trained for another crack and can go in again. Thunder And Roses, who finished second, is 6lb better off and is another well suited to this stamina test though arrives without a prep run. Mall Dini has never been as far as this but looked a stayer when running on in the Kim Muir at Cheltenham. He finished a long way behind his stable companion Presenting Percy at Galway and though the winner is very useful he has a lot of weight for a novice with just two runs over fences behind him. Poormans Hill completed a four-timer after joining Gordon Elliott and shot up the ratings as a consequence but he's been by no means disgraced in two subsequent runs and should get into contention.
