In depth

Verdict

Jim Bolger's horses are running so well that impressive Roscommon winner Paso Doble has to be on the shortlist despite a 9lb rise. Out On Friday has been hit with an 11lb rise after bolting up at Galway where the heavy conditions obviously suited. Longbourne is 7lb higher for landing a Tipperary maiden and this looks tough but LAYFAYETTE (NAP) is just 4lb higher for beating the in-form Wilderness over this trip on soft ground at Naas. Noel Meade's charge was having only his seventh start that day and, with more to come, can complete a double. Gee Rex hasn't been the most consistent of performers but won well on testing ground at Gowran and is just 4lb higher.
