Verdict

Official ratings suggest Noivado will take some beating. Ger Lyons' charge, beaten just a neck in a Listed contest at Dundalk in April, didn't run up to that form in similar company at Naas a month ago and the fast ground would have to be a concern. His trainer also runs Imagine If and he would have a chance on his maiden victory over Elizabeth Browning at Navan in October though he hasn't run up to that form in two starts this campaign. Hailstone has been in fine form this spring, winning at Dundalk and Limerick, and he found the minimum trip too short on the Polytrack last time. SOLAR HALO had shown potential last season and made a cracking start to this campaign by landing a lucrative handicap at the Curragh. There should be more to come and she can take advantage of the weight concession and complete a double.
