Mydor, who won the previous race last season, has shown nothing in two starts over fences but is young enough to make progress and should do better. The once very promising Our Vinnie was having his first start for over two years when well beaten here last month but that will have blown away the cobwebs and the market should tell us more about his chances. Georges Conn was in front of him in that latter race and has some cracking performances to his credit including when narrowly beaten in the Troytown at Navan. That's better form shown by SAMBREMONT but the latter looks to have more scope after a very good second to his odds-on stablemate Black Hercules at Navan where he will have found 2m4f too short.
