In depth

Verdict

This looks a tricky handicap hurdle with Kornati Lad, Boulevardofdreams and Leamington Lad all worth noting but the vote goes to the last named. Leamington Lad has been nothing but consistent all season without getting his head in front. Infact he has been a little frustrating to follow of late but having said that he did run a near personal best when second to Mous Of Men at Doncaster last time out to suggest that he can at last get back to winning ways very shortly. Kornati Lad runs in his first handicap after winning at Wincanton last time out. His mark of 110 looks fair enough and is therefore one to note in the betting market. As is Boulevardofdreams has not been on the track for over two and half years. He won a maiden hurdle back in May 2005 but after four outings injury has forced a lengthy absence and even coming from the Pipe yard it will be same feat to score on his first run back. So for the winner we return to Leamington Lad.
