In depth
Verdict
The champion jockey embarks on his quest for another title aboard LUCY'S PERFECT and it would be no surprise to see him hit the mark at the first time of asking. The mare disappointed last time but her overall profile is solid, highlighted by a battling Taunton success over Mizzurka, which sets the standard here. She's preferred to Freddy's Star, back to better form last time for his new yard, but more significantly one who's delivered his best form at this venue. A market check is strongly advised. Ex-Irish Timoca hasn't pulled up any trees since joining Evan Williams, but has shown bits and pieces of form and the yard is in great heart at present.
