      Verdict

Wind Tor has failed to figure since winning last year’s renewal and has slid down the handicap as a consequence. River Tyne has the more recent form having gone close at Plumpton still looking for her first win but the vote goes to STANLEY STANLEY. The latter was having her first outing since landing a double over hurdles for Paul Nicholls back in 2021 when running well over fences at Wetherby on her debut for a new yard and will be sharper today. Merry Mistress has undergone wind surgery and is fitted with a visor since last in action while Ya Know Yaseff has yet to complete over the larger obstacles.
