In depth

Verdict

KINGOFTHEWEST came up against a useful mare at Chepstow having made a winning debut at Taunton. There should be plenty more to come from David Pipe’s charge, who can defy a penalty in this. Sadler's Bay made late headway into third in a maiden here last month and is a likely improver while Ben Bulben could be an interesting recruit being a half-brother to four winning jumpers.
