Form choice Call Me A Legend is awarded our vote from Grandage and Spirit Of Lake although support for Bacchanalianbertie would be of keen interest in a bumper that may lack strength in depth. He looks the type on paper and his yard, which is bang in form, knows the time of day in these contests. Grandage and Spirit Of Lake have both run well enough in defeat without looking out of the ordinary and need to improve to lower the colours of the selection. Alan King's filly ran on well to win at Towcester before acquitting herself creditably in a better race at Newbury and should be in the firing line. Neither Frosty Spring nor Silver Gora showed a great deal on debut whilst Henri Beauclerc isn't from a yard that's readily associated with winners in these contests. As ever, an eye should be kept on the market but Call Me A Legend has leading claims.
