Pull The Chord is likely to be popular as he displayed promise on his first run for the stable when a fair third at Stratford. However, that run - and two point-to-point outings - all came on good ground so it's hard to know how he'll handle totally contrasting conditions. Similar comments are applicable to Dandy who shaped satisfactorily on his hurdling debut at Taunton and is a rare jumps runner for Andrew Balding. He finished fifth of seven at Epsom on his only start on heavy on the Flat. Ice Tres is a possible improver but we'll take a speculative punt on AN TARBH OG for Caroline Keevil, for whom he has his first run. Runner-up in three of his last four point-to-points, stamina won't be an issue for the Fruits Of Love gelding and it was heavy ground when he finished second at Templemore last spring.
